TP (Theatre Studies and Psychology) is a dual major programme offered by the Department of Theatre Studies and Psychology. This symbiotic combination helps instil an ensemble spirit and inspires and necessitates a quest for artistic excellence. Each of the majors is carefully tailored to work in tandem. The disciplines foster skills required for multiple career paths and a varied spectrum of Higher Education possibilities. The transformative processes of theatre lead to self-discovery and identity formation. Therefore, being of socio-political relevance, Theatre Studies is a burgeoning academic discipline and a viable career choice.
Students who have secured 75% marks and above in the first six semesters can qualify for a 4-year degree (Honours) in either Psychology or Theatre (Honours), or if recommended by faculty may pursue an Honours in Theatre Studies.
