B.Tech (Automobile Engineering) program is designed to develop a new breed of engineers required for the ever-expanding automotive industry. We strive to improve the technical and professional skills of the students through hands on and project based experiential learning. We encourage and support students to draw, design and build their dream vehicle models. In collaboration with, renowned automotive OEM's several facilities are created at campus for the students to get the skill training, which will help them to meet the requirements of the Automotive Industry. Automotive maintenance, service laboratory
has modules to demonstrate the working of all automotive parts, which are developed with the support of Trident Hyundai, Renault Nissan and Ashok Leyland.Department has MoU with Daimler Truck Innovation Center India Private Limited (DTICI), Government Tool Room & Training Centre (GTTC) and Wipro 3D. The purpose of MoU is to have mutual intentions to jointly work on projects required for industries and research needs, with learned faculty of good industrial experience and promising students, jointly agree to exchange their expertise for mutual benefit and growth.

An undertaking for pending original documents unavailable currently [applicable only for candidates writing/passing their exam in March – June - 2024], must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. These documents must be submitted on or before 30 August 2024.

Students are welcome to apply under the Non Resident Indian category for the programmes offered by the University
Students who fall under any of the following classifications can apply under NRI Student category and be liable to pay the fees applicable to the category for the entire duration of the programme
1. NRI defined under the Indian Income Tax Law
2. Either of the parents is outside India (except Nepal) on Work Permit / Resident Permit.
3. Indian citizen financed by any Institution / agency outside India, even if parents are Residents of India.
4. Indian Citizen who has pursued studies for qualifying examination in any foreign / Indian syllabus outside India..
5. NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the programme for candidates who;
5.1. Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India.

Admission to all programmes is based on academic achievement and CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Selection Process. Candidates should submit the final results of class 12 on or before August 30th of the admission year.

Eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) Examination from any recognised Board.
Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at +2 level and obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and 50% in Mathematics.
Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2024 may apply with their class X and XI marks.
Students pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:
Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.
