Overview
CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore is an Authorized Training Center (ATC) to offer IATA/UFTAA Foundation Level I and Consultant Level II programs. The inception of IATA/UFTAA Programmes further strengthens the Universitys commitment and dedication in the field of Tourism and Hospitality Education.
IATA (International Air Transport Association) is the largest global association in Airlines with over 260 members comprising 95% of the Scheduled International Airlines.
UFTAA (United Federation of Travel Agents Association) is the highest world body representing Travel Agents and other Travel Tourism related Organizations.
IATA ATDI (Aviation Training and Development Institute) in Montreal, Quebec Canada, manages the IATA/UFTAA International Travel and Tourism Training Programmes as well as offering the most comprehensive training and professional development courses in the related fields of Airlines, Airport, Cargo and Civil Aviation.
Air India is the local co-ordinator providing programme support services nationally.
Objective
1. IATA/UFTAA Training Programmes are globally received and valued as an international qualification in the Travel Industry.
2. Since its inception in 1972, the IATA/UFTAA Programmes have gained remarkable global recognition, credibility and acceptance over the years and an important program for students venturing into the Travel Industry.
3. IATA/UFTAA course is committed to enhancing the Travel Agents worldwide image of competence & Professionalism.
