About the Institution

CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, India is educational vision of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) congregation founded by St Kuriakose Elias Chavara. He was a visionary, an educationist and a social reformer of the nineteenth century who founded the congregation in 1831 in South India. CHRIST was established in July 1969 as Christ College. It was the first institution in Karnataka to be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). University Grants Commission (UGC) conferred Autonomy to the institution in 2004. It became the first college in south India to be reaccredited with A+ by NAAC in 2005. UGC identified it as an Institute with Potential for Excellence in 2006. The Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India declared Christ college as a Deemed to be University in the name and style of CHRIST in July 2008. The University was accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC in 2016. CHRIST (Deemed to be University) completes fifty glorious years of its existence and sterling contribution to the cause of Higher Education in India.

The training imparted aims to prepare young minds for the challenging opportunities in the IT industry with a global awareness rooted in the Indian soil, nourished and supported by experts in the field.

About the Conference

CHRIST (Deemed to be University) completes fifty glorious years of its existence and sterling contribution to the cause of Higher education in India. As part of Golden Jubilee celebrations, Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics under the Deanery of Science are jointly organizing International Science Conference on Convergence of Mathematical and Digital Sciences [ISCCMDS 2019] during 27-28 February 2019. As part of ISCCMDS’19, Department of Computer Science and Statistics proudly announces a dedicated Conference Track on Sustainable Advanced Computing and Statistical Techniques.

Scope of the Conference

The objective of this Conference is to provide opportunities for collaboration and reflection enhancing the ability of applying Information Technology for sustainability. This conference will provide a unique forum for the academicians, researchers, technocrats and industry experts to exchange ideas, experiences on research problems of recent advancements in the field of Computer Science and Statistics.
