Dr Saji Varghese, Department of English and Cultural Studies, School of Arts and Humanities, Christ University Bangalore Central Campus, has been recognized under the “Appreciation” category for his innovation “Drinking Straws from Coconut Leaves” by “The Global Honey Bee Network Creativity and Inclusivity Innovation Appreciation Award-2020”. This award ceremony was organized by the Honey Bee Network through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) virtually on 16 November 2021.
Professors from IIT Delhi, IIT Mumbai, MIT Boston, MIT Sloan, School of Management, University of Oxford, and UNDP members were the juries. This achievement is also commendable considering the entries from 84 countries with about 2500 entries.
