Experience Engineering Program (EEP)
Engineering though is about solving problems and building solutions, learning it comes from an interaction between conceptual content, hands-on learning and asking questions. The learner if they gets deeper conceptual content by its application for solutions and thus better insight on technological and scientific front, it would help them to understand Engineering and what it is all about.
To enable the young dynamic mind, to have right information and to help them to make right decisions, the Experience Engineering Programme (EEP) - a first of its kind in the country, has been introduced. This programme would help the students to experience what engineering is like before they actually decides to take up engineering.
To get insight of internal working of companies and industry, department arrange for Industrial visits for the students. This year the students of Fifth semester and Seventh semester were taken to ISRO, HAL Airport road, Bangalore and Ampere Electric, Peenya Industrial Area, Bangalore
The Main aim of the project exhibition conducted on 18 September 2013 was to encourage the students to explore and experience the new horizons in the field of technological advancements. Students from all the semesters came up with different projects.
Report Of Visit to Nelamangala Power sub-station
Students of fifth semester, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, C.U.F.E., visited the Nelamangala power substation in Bangalore on the 4th of July. Students spent two hours at the substation premises seeing in practice and learning about current and potential transformers, lightening arrestors and surge arrestors. They were given a demonstration on the working of circuit breakers and were also told about the current electricity demands and the various techniques used to achieve the demands.
The industrial trip was undertaken to give the students an actual view of the various terms they learn in class in their current semester. The students were accompanied by Prof. Manikandan, Asst. Professor, Dept of Electrical and Electronics Engg.

Report on one day Industrial Visit to ISRO satellite Centre(ISAC)
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Faculty of Engineering organized a one day Industrial visit to ISRO Satellite centre (ISAC) for the third year BTech and first year MTech students 18th July 2014, and for second year BTech students on 10th September 2014.
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is the primary space agency of India. ISRO is amongst the largest government space agencies in the world. Its primary objective is to advance space technology and use its applications for national benefit.
The visit provided an insight to the quality of research happening in the area of space technology and the scope of electronics and communication engineer in this field. It was a good experience for the students which provided exposure about the Indian space Programme and how much they as communication engineers can do in this field.
