Guest Talk on "The Pivotal Pachyderm" on the eve of World Elephant Day - 2022

Guest Talk on The Pivotal Pachyderm organised The Ecological Diversity Cell of the Department of English and Cultural Studies, Bangalore Central Campus, in collaboration with Bishop Heber College, Tiruchirapalli, Tamilnadu, on the eve of World Elephant Day - 2022 on 12 August 2022 at 12:00 Noon.

Pachyderms have been an underrated but significant contributor to creativity in terms of various creative factors in literature and fashion. However, not only are they a cultural aspect, but they also maintain the delicate balance of the forest ecosystem. On this World Elephant Day, Ms Evelyn Jeevanandhini Gunaseharan, Assistant Professor in English at Bishop Heber College, Tamil Nadu, will focus on how the mighty mammoths have been represented in literature, movies, and fashion literally, ecologically, and metaphorically.

The talk will be delivered online on the Cisco Webex Platform: https://christuniversity.webex.com/christuniversity/j.php?MTID=m44b3c376f04d21de38651d41b50f23ca
