Quality Improvement programme (QIP) for the faculty was conducted on May 17, 19 and 22 of May 2017. The theme of the programme was Teaching, Learning and Evaluation. The faculty, along with eminent resource persons, such as Prof. Partha Ghosh and Dr. Naresh Rao deliberated on how to diversify the course plan to impart as many skills as possible to the students to prepare them for their future careers.

They also discussed and planned for different activities using diverse teaching methodologies and digital tools available for both students and faculty. The QIP also included a segment on research and publication in which the Fulbright scholar, Dr. Paul Hong from shared tips on collaborative research and publication and on including the research component in teaching, learning. New evaluation rubrics were debated upon and included in to departmental evaluation policy.
