Jeevostav, the annual intercollegiate Life Science Fest, was conducted on August 23, 2016in the Main Auditorium of Christ University. It was a memorable event for the faculty and the students of Life Sciences. A plethora of events were  organized which included Pot Pourri, Air Crash, Pick and Speak, Split Screen, Marketing Genius, Quiz, Debate, Pencil Sketching, Flower Arrangement and Photography. Students from 19 colleges including St. Josephs College, Mount Carmel College and Oxford College, participated in the various events. As a special addition, Botany and Zoology exhibitions were organized in which specimens of plant and animal life forms were put on display.
Following the various competitions, was a cultural program in which every class of the Life Science Department put up a performance. To add to the spirit, there was a prize for the overall winners among the nine classes of Life Sciences stream. This was followed by the valedictory program. The fest was embraced with great enthusiasm by the students and turned out to be an eventful one! We look forward to engaging in the events of Jeevotsav in the years to come.
