In order to cultivate better understanding between the peoples of China and India, a faculty training program on teaching about China was organized by United Board, Harward Yenching Institute and Department of International Studies CHRIST, at Central campus from May 30th to June 5th, 2019. This workshop has succeeded in introducing to the Indian faculty a comprehensive background on the latest development of contemporary China and providing them an informed understanding of China today. This workshop focused on providing participants with a conceptual framework to examine the intersection of politics and economics in contemporary China.
