PLACEMENT

The growth of media in the last three decades is parallel to the growth of the Department of Media Studies. The career opportunities in the media industry have seen an exponential growth over the past two decades. Many of our students used to get absorbed into traditional media organisations earlier. In the past one decade, many are venturing into digital media as well. Some of the professionals set ups our students get placed in are Reuters, Network 18 & ViaCom 18, BrandComm, Edelman, Deccan Herald, Sportstar, Curefit, Boom Factcheck, MSL Group, PRHub etc. Some of our students have got placed in corporate companies like EY, SysCloud, Accenture, TCS, SailaxAI and HP for marketing communication and content generation work. In addition to on campus placements, a lot of students get absorbed into the organisations where they head for their final semester internships. Some of our alumni got placed in organisations like InMobi, Media Ant, DNA, Pink Lemonade and NewsMinute, as a result of their internships.
