The International Winter Programme on Child Protection is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of child rights, child protection systems, community development, and social policy through experiential learning.
Participants will engage with experts, NGOs, healthcare institutions, and local communities while gaining valuable international exposure through interactive workshops, field visits, and cultural experiences.
This programme bridges academic learning with real-world practice, allowing participants to explore contemporary issues affecting children while understanding India's diverse social and cultural landscape.
Attend expert-led lectures and workshops conducted by experienced faculty and professionals specializing in child protection, mental health, and social policy.
Visit renowned NGOs, hospitals, and community organizations working directly with children and vulnerable populations.

The International Winter Programme on Child Protection is designed to contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by fostering international collaboration, experiential learning, and knowledge exchange in the field of child protection and social work.
This programme promotes inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education by combining academic learning with experiential field practice, expert-led workshops, community engagement, and intercultural exchange. Participants strengthen their professional knowledge, critical thinking, and practical skills while learning from real-world child protection systems and social work practices.
The programme strengthens global partnerships by bringing together students, faculty, NGOs, healthcare institutions, and community organizations to promote collaborative learning and international cooperation. These partnerships encourage knowledge sharing, cultural understanding, and sustainable approaches to child protection and community development.
Interactive academic sessions covering child rights, child protection models, trauma-informed practice, and social policy.

Participants are required to attend all academic sessions, workshops, field visits, community immersion activities, and cultural programmes throughout the ten-day programme. The curriculum combines classroom learning with practical exposure through institutional visits, rural community engagement, and interactive activities.
