Students then visit the WMU campus in the US and stay for the duration of 12 months. Students will obtain two degrees from two universities in two years with an international exposure of 9 months or more in the USA. Students may also extend their U.S. degree completion if desired.

Students enrolling at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), for this program will be doing the first year of their MBA courses at CHRIST School of Business and Management. The second year, consisting of seven courses (21 credits) will be completed at the Haworth College of Business in the United States. Students can choose their three electives from the following disciplines: Computer Information Systems, Finance, Management and Marketing . Selection process results will be available on https://appstat.christuniversity.in Selected candidates will receive an E-Offer of admission. The offer will be valid upto the date mentioned in the Offer of admission.

All selected candidates must note that admission is provisional and subject to University rules.

To process admission

1. Candidates must choose the preferred date and time from available options to facilitate smooth admission process.

2. Admission must be processed at the campus where the programme is offered as published in the offer of admission.

3. As per UGC guidelines, fee payment has to be made through online mode.

4. Payment options and details will be available in the Offer of admission.

5. Fees for first year including Admission Registration fee must be paid in full as part of the admission process.


All original marks cards and one set of photocopies must be submitted for verification at the time of admission as mentioned below

1. Copy of E-Admission card (Mandatory).
 
2. Copies of the NEFT / Online Payment Receipt (Mandatory).
 
3. Statement of Marks: Class 10, Class 12 (Mandatory).
 
4. Undergraduate Degree Marks Card (if result awaited, marks card till the last semester/year) (Mandatory).
 
5. Provisional degree certificate, if candidate has completed/graduated before November 2020 (Mandatory).
 
6. Degree certificate (Convocation Certificate), if candidate has graduated before June 2020 (Mandatory).
 
7. Transfer Certificate (TC) of undergraduate/postgraduate degree from the last qualified institution (Mandatory) must be submitted by 20 August, 2021.
 
8. Migration Certificate of undergraduate degree from qualifying University (applicable for all candidates except those studying in Karnataka) (Mandatory) must be submitted by 20 August, 2021.
 
9. Students pursuing their final year must bring the statement of marks up to the previous semester / year (Mandatory).

10. Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) should submit
      a] Copy of Passport and Visa Details (Mandatory).
      b] Candidates applying under PIO or OCI have to produce the copy of PIO or OCI card whichever is applicable (Mandatory).
      c] Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any recognized medical practitioner certified by the Medical Council of India and
      d] Resident Permit (RP) (If available while applying)
 
11. 1 passport size and 1 stamp size photographs (Mandatory).
 
12. A valid photo ID in original (Aadhar Card/Passport/PAN Card/Driving License/Electoral ID)(Mandatory).
 
13. Work experience, work related documents such as joining letter/experience letter and latest salary slip (If required for the programme).


All mandatory documents must be submitted for verification during the admission process.

An undertaking for pending original documents unavailable currently [applicable only for candidates writing / passing their exam in March – June - 2021], must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. These documents must be submitted on or before 20 August, 2021.

Failure to submit the pending documents will be treated as unsuccessful in the qualifying examination or considered “Not Eligible” and admission will be terminated from CHRIST (Deemed to be University) without any claim.

All admitted students must open an account at South Indian Bank, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Branch as part of the admission process and must carry relevant ID proof (Aadhar Card and Pan Card).

The University ID card is a smart card, which is both an ID cum ATM card with a chip containing the student personal details. All transactions within the University campus after commencement of classes, including fee payment will be processed only through this card. It is also an access card for Library and other restricted places.

Selected candidates who fall under International student category (ISC) should register with the Foreigner Regional Registration Officer (FRRO / FRO) of the Local Police in Bengaluru, India within 14 working days from the date of admission or arriving in Bengaluru.


The date of commencement of the academic Year 2021 will be intimated during the admission process.

Please Note:

   I) The University does not collect any type of capitation / donation other than the fees mentioned in the website.

  II) All those admitted to the programme will have to purchase a laptop at their own cost, if required by the department.

 III) Admitted students who wish to avail bank loan will be provided a recommendation letter on request by presenting the original fee paid receipt to the Office of Admissions.

IV) The decision of the admission committee is final and binding.

For MBA (CU) + MBA Western Michigan University, USA): It is mandatory for students to go to USA for 12 months. Students should pay for airfare, insurance, visa charges, accommodation in USA (US$ 600/month & US$ 700/month for double occupancy & single occupancy respectively payable at the beginning of each semester in June 2021 & Jan 2022, textbooks (US$2000), food & other living expenses (US$300/month).  A rough estimate of all these expenses will be Rs.8.5 lakhs at the current exchange rate.

It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for both years, there may be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs.


1. NRI fee is applicable for first year for candidates who have studied foreign syllabus (has to be approved by UGC / AIU) in the qualifying examination of study in India. (The above condition is not applicable to NRI and candidates applied under NRI Category).

Coursework contains strong experiential learning components, bringing real business cases, data and consulting opportunities to the classroom. OPT (Optional Practical Training)
Optional Practical Training is a benefit available to students who are completing a degree in the U.S. and who have been lawfully enrolled on a full-time basis for at least one academic year.  OPT is intended to provide hands-on practical work experience complementary to the academic program. An F-1 Student is eligible for a maximum of 12 months. OPT is very flexible. The employment can be anywhere in the U.S. and can be for any company or organization as long as it is related to the field of study and appropriate to the degree level. OPT employment can be paid or unpaid.

History
WMU began its partnership with Christ University in 1997 and has been successfully working with students from Christ for more than 20 years. Now, WMU is offering its MBA program for Christ University students. The program’s integrated approach, flexibility and opportunity to discover your path in business, make it particularly attractive.

Accommodations
Students are responsible for finding their own housing. There are several apartment buildings conveniently located near Western Michigan University.

US Visa
Obtaining a visa is the student’s responsibility. However, all documents required for transfer to WMU will be provided by CHRIST (Deemed to be University).

Note: Students must have GMAT and TOEFL Score by January 15, 2022 (Valid Passport is required).

Instructions for applicants

  1. Selection process admit card will be uploaded in the candidate application login (https://appstat.christuniversity.in) THREE days before the selection process date.  candidates must read through the contents published in the admit card and must keep the originals at hand for verification during the Personal Interview round.
     
  2. A Google calendar invite will be sent to your registered email id, ONE day before the selection process.
     
  3. The date and time for the selection process are auto-generated by the system. Therefore, any request for changes will not be entertained.
     
  4. Candidates must show the original Government recognized photo identity card (Aadhar card/Passport/Voter ID/Recent College ID card) for attending the online selection process. Failing which the application will be considered as “Not Selected”.
     
  5. All original Class 10, Class 12, Degree Marks Card (Students pursuing their final year must have the statement of marks up to the previous semester/year) and The scores of the following tests held in 2020 and 2021 will be accepted of MAT score of 500 and above OR CAT score of 60 percentile and above OR XAT score of 60 percentile and above OR CMAT score of 60 percentile and above OR ATMA score of 60 percentile and above OR GMAT score of 450 and above OR GRE score of 295 and above. should be available for verification during the personal interview round.
     
  6. It is recommended to login atleast 15mts before the scheduled time to avoid any last-minute technical glitches.
     
  7. Candidates failing to appear for the selection process at the stipulated date and time will be considered as “Not Selected”.
     
  8. Impersonation or any suspicious behaviour (prompting by a third person or accessing notes/gadgets) will be treated as malpractice and the application will be termed as “Not Selected”.
     
  9. Candidate must prepare for a Micro Presentation (Extempore) as part of the Selection Process. Candidates will be asked to speak on any of the topics given in our selection process link on “Topics for Presentation 2021-Session-I" and “Topics for Presentation 2021-Session-II" during the Micro presentation round.
  10. The responsibility of satisfying the eligibility criteria for admission rests with the student/candidate. The issue of the E-Admit Card for the selection process does not imply that the eligibility criteria are satisfied.
     
  11. Important: Minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / GRE / ATMA is only eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process.
     
  12. Candidates applying for the Dual Degree MBA (CU) + MBA, (FHWS, Germany) programme should have at least one year of work experience. Work-related documents such as Joining Letter/Experience Letter with latest salary slip should be submitted. Running a Family Business is also considered as work experience and adequate proof should be submitted for the same. (Mandatory).
     
  13. Selected candidates must process their admission within the stipulated date and time given on the e-admission card, by paying the fee and submitting the above mentioned original documents for verification.
     
  14. Degree certificate (Convocation Certificate), if the candidate has graduated before June 2021  OR Provisional degree certificate, if the candidate has completed/graduated before November 2021 should be submitted at the time of admission.
     
  15. Transfer Certificate (TC) of an undergraduate degree from the last qualified institution. Migration Certificate of an undergraduate degree from qualifying University (applicable for all candidates except those studying in Karnataka) should be submitted at the time of admission.
     
  16. Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) should submit a copy of Passport and Visa page at the time of admission.
