Candidates falling under any of the below mentioned categories must apply under the International Student Category: 
1. Foreign citizens,
2. PIO card holders and
3. OCI (Dual Citizens)

International students coming from Non-English speaking countries should:
a) produce evidence of passing the qualifying examination in English medium or
b) have IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL (paper) 550, TOEFL (computer) of 213 or TOEFL (IBT) of 79 scores

Candidates without the above pre-qualifications will have to enroll either for
a) Intensive Certificate course in English Language (Full Time) conducted from March to May each year or
b) One Semester Certificate course in English Language (Part Time) conducted after regular class hours from June to December.

Note: The International Student category fee structure is binding for the full duration of the programme and cannot be transferred /changed in between.

Students who fall under any of the following classifications, at the time of application may apply under NRI Student category and be liable to pay the fees applicable to the category for the entire duration of the course.

1. NRI defined under the Indian Income Tax Law
2. Either of the parents is outside India (except Nepal) on Work Permit / Resident Permit.
3. Indian citizen financed by any Institution /  agency outside India, even if parents are Residents of India.
4. Indian Citizen who has pursued studies for qualifying examination in any foreign / Indian syllabus outside India.
5. Indian citizen pursued studies for qualifying examination in foreign syllabi in India.


Note: If only condition 5 is satisfied, and not conditions 1 to 4 above,NRI student category fee will be applicable only for the first year.

Selection process results will be available on https://appstat.christuniversity.in Selected candidates will receive an E-Offer of admission. The offer will be valid upto the date mentioned in the Offer of admission.

To process admission

1. Candidates must choose the preferred date and time from available options to facilitate smooth admission process.

2. Admission must be processed at the campus where the programme is offered as published in the offer of admission.

3. As per UGC guidelines, fee payment has to be made through online mode.

4. Payment options and details will be available in the Offer of admission.

5. Fees for first year including Admission Registration fee must be paid in full as part of the admission process.


All original marks cards and one set of photocopies must be submitted for verification at the time of admission as mentioned below

1. Copy of E-Admission card (Mandatory).
 
2. Copies of the NEFT / Online Payment Receipt (Mandatory).
 
3. Statement of Marks: Class 10, Class 12 (Mandatory).
 
4. Undergraduate Degree Marks Card (if result awaited, marks card till the last semester/year) (Mandatory).
 
5. Provisional degree certificate, if candidate has completed/graduated before November 2020 (Mandatory).
 
6. Degree certificate (Convocation Certificate), if candidate has graduated before June 2020 (Mandatory).
 
7. Transfer Certificate (TC) of undergraduate/postgraduate degree from the last qualified institution (Mandatory) must be submitted by 20 August, 2021.
 
8. Migration Certificate of undergraduate degree from qualifying University (applicable for all candidates except those studying in Karnataka) (Mandatory) must be submitted by 20 August, 2021.
 
9. Students pursuing their final year must bring the statement of marks up to the previous semester / year (Mandatory).

10. Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) should submit
      a] Copy of Passport and Visa Details (Mandatory).
      b] Candidates applying under PIO or OCI have to produce the copy of PIO or OCI card whichever is applicable (Mandatory).
      c] Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any recognized medical practitioner certified by the Medical Council of India and
      d] Resident Permit (RP) (If available while applying)
 
11. 1 passport size and 1 stamp size photographs (Mandatory).
 
12. A valid photo ID in original (Aadhar Card/Passport/PAN Card/Driving License/Electoral ID)(Mandatory).
 
13. Work experience, work related documents such as joining letter/experience letter and latest salary slip (If required for the programme).


All mandatory documents must be submitted for verification during the admission process.

An undertaking for pending original documents unavailable currently [applicable only for candidates writing / passing their exam in March – June - 2021], must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. These documents must be submitted on or before 20 August, 2021.

Failure to submit the pending documents will be treated as unsuccessful in the qualifying examination or considered “Not Eligible” and admission will be terminated from CHRIST (Deemed to be University) without any claim.

All admitted students must open an account at South Indian Bank, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Branch as part of the admission process and must carry relevant ID proof (Aadhar Card and Pan Card).

The University ID card is a smart card, which is both an ID cum ATM card with a chip containing the student personal details. All transactions within the University campus after commencement of classes, including fee payment will be processed only through this card. It is also an access card for Library and other restricted places.

Selected candidates who fall under International student category (ISC) should register with the Foreigner Regional Registration Officer (FRRO / FRO) of the Local Police in Bengaluru, India within 14 working days from the date of admission or arriving in Bengaluru.


The date of commencement of the academic Year 2021 will be intimated during the admission process.

  • The University does not collect any type of Capitation / Donation other than the fee mentioned in the website.
  • If the Application is incomplete or incorrect, the University Management has the right to reject it.

Create an application login at https://appstat.christuniversity.in using NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID and a password. The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages. An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme is fulfilled.

Applicants must have the following documents before filling the application online:

  • Copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 12 and Degree Marks Cards (whichever is available years/semesters marks card) (Mandatory) and a valid Entrance test scorecard of (Sep MAT 2020 / Dec MAT 2020 / Feb MAT 2021 OR CAT 2020 OR CMAT 2021 OR GMAT 2020 / 2021 OR XAT 2021 OR ATMA 2021 OR GRE 2020 / 2021) and Candidates who are applying for the Dual Degree MBA (CU) + MBA, (FHWS, Germany) Programme should also have the work-related documents (Joining Letter / Experience Letter) (Full Time /  Family Business also considered) with one or more year of work experience (Mandatory).
  • The application cannot be submitted without filling all the mandatory fields. A recent passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background) should be scanned and uploaded along with other documents.
  • The application number will be auto generated after successful payment of the application fee. A copy of the application can be printed anytime from the login.
  • In case of payment failure due to technical error the application number will not be generated and any amount deducted will be automatically refunded within 15 business days.

The Important Dates section must be referred to prior to filling the application.

Applicants applying while in their final year of undergraduate degree must carry the marks card upto the previous semester/year.

Students pursuing an International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:

(Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far). Students writing their final degree examinations during March-June 2021 are also eligible to apply.

The minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / GRE / ATMA is only eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process.

OPT is a paid internship facility provided for international students to undertake paid internship under student visa (work visa not required). The main purpose of OPT is to help students acquire practical experience in the field of their study. Normal duration of OPT is 12 months. However, students in STEM specializations viz., Information Systems and Decision Analytics can extend OPT by another two years (24 months).

HOSTEL FACILITIES
It is compulsory for students to stay in hostels on VCU campus. Students can choose either a single room or a double sharing room. Each hostel unit will have 2-4 rooms, a living room with furniture and fully equipped kitchenette. Though TV is not provided in the units, students may purchase their own TV on arrival.

Thanks to the VCU Police Department and the University’s extensive emergency information systems emergency information systems, the VCU community is accustomed to feeling safe, informed, and prepared. VCU Police patrolling campus and the surrounding areas on bikes, in cars and on foot provide 24-hour protection. You can access them immediately by using one of the 350 easily identifiable yellow emergency telephones located throughout campus. Emergency phones also connect students VCU’s RamSafe, which provides escorts if you are heading home from a late-night class or meeting. In addition to regular patrols, VCU Police also offers services such as bike and laptop registration, alert text and email messaging, residential hall security, campus cameras and more.

Time of Payment: All the candidates have to pay the I Year fee immediately after confirmation of the admission. II Year fee must be remitted before the commencement of final examinations of III Trimester.
 
For MBA (Christ) + MS Business (VCU, USA) It is mandatory for students to go to the USA for 9 months. VCU Hostel in USA (housing):  US$ 600/month (for double occupancy) & US$ 700/month (Single occupancy) payable at the beginning of each semester (July 2020 & Jan 2021). Rest of the expenses. Students should pay for (Airfare, insurance, Visa Charges, Textbooks, food and other living expenses) (approximately Rs. 8.50 lakhs) other than the above mentioned fee.
It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for two years, there may be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs.

1. NRI fee is applicable for first year for candidates who have studied foreign syllabus (has to be approved by UGC / AIU) in the qualifying examination of study in India. (The above condition is not applicable to NRI and candidates applied under NRI Category).

4. Admission registration fee of INR 5000/- is non-refundable in the event of cancellation of admission. This fee will be apart from cancellation charges if any applicable.

Instructions for applicants

  1. Selection process admit card will be uploaded in the candidate application login (https://appstat.christuniversity.in) THREE days before the selection process date.  candidates must read through the contents published in the admit card and must keep the originals at hand for verification during the Personal Interview round.
     
  2. A Google calendar invite will be sent to your registered email id, ONE day before the selection process.
     
  3. The date and time for the selection process are auto-generated by the system. Therefore, any request for changes will not be entertained.
     
  4. Candidates must show the original Government recognized photo identity card (Aadhar card/Passport/Voter ID/Recent College ID card) for attending the online selection process. Failing which the application will be considered as “Not Selected”.
     
  5. All original Class 10, Class 12, Degree Marks Card (Students pursuing their final year must have the statement of marks up to the previous semester/year) and The scores of the following tests held in 2020 and 2021 will be accepted of MAT score of 500 and above OR CAT score of 60 percentile and above OR XAT score of 60 percentile and above OR CMAT score of 60 percentile and above OR ATMA score of 60 percentile and above OR GMAT score of 450 and above OR GRE score of 295 and above. should be available for verification during the personal interview round.
     
  6. It is recommended to login atleast 15mts before the scheduled time to avoid any last-minute technical glitches.
     
  7. Candidates failing to appear for the selection process at the stipulated date and time will be considered as “Not Selected”.
     
  8. Impersonation or any suspicious behaviour (prompting by a third person or accessing notes/gadgets) will be treated as malpractice and the application will be termed as “Not Selected”.
     
  9. Candidate must prepare for a Micro Presentation (Extempore) as part of the Selection Process. Candidates will be asked to speak on any of the topics given in our selection process link on “Topics for Presentation 2021-Session-I" | “Topics for Presentation 2021-Session-II"“Topics for Presentation 2021-Session-III"“Topics for Presentation 2021-Session-IV" during the Micro presentation round.
  10. The responsibility of satisfying the eligibility criteria for admission rests with the student/candidate. The issue of the E-Admit Card for the selection process does not imply that the eligibility criteria are satisfied.
     
  11. Important: Minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / GRE / ATMA is only eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process.
     
  12. Candidates applying for the Dual Degree MBA (CU) + MBA, (FHWS, Germany) programme should have at least one year of work experience. Work-related documents such as Joining Letter/Experience Letter with latest salary slip should be submitted. Running a Family Business is also considered as work experience and adequate proof should be submitted for the same. (Mandatory).
     
  13. Selected candidates must process their admission within the stipulated date and time given on the e-admission card, by paying the fee and submitting the above mentioned original documents for verification.
     
  14. Degree certificate (Convocation Certificate), if the candidate has graduated before June 2021  OR Provisional degree certificate, if the candidate has completed/graduated before November 2021 should be submitted at the time of admission.
     
  15. Transfer Certificate (TC) of an undergraduate degree from the last qualified institution. Migration Certificate of an undergraduate degree from a qualifying University (applicable for all candidates except those studying in Karnataka) should be submitted at the time of admission.
     
  16. Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) should submit a copy of Passport and Visa page at the time of admission.
