International Baccalaureate Educator Certificate in Teaching and Learning   is recognized by the IB as having met the professional growth requirements associated with the IB’s programme authorization and assessment procedures.

The Post Graduate Diploma in International Education (PGDIE)  is an academic program designed as a dual qualification for in-service teachers in schools in India or abroad. It is a one-year program, structured to be delivered in blended and online mode. To keep up with the best international and evidence-based practices, the award of the IB Educator Certificate makes the academic program additionally rewarding. The online learning segment enables the in-service teachers to balance their commitments, continue working in schools, and also further their education. On successful completion of the PGDIE program, the IBO awards the IB Educator Certification teaching and Learning.

Course modules, aligned with the philosophy, mission, standards, and practices of IB, will prepare teachers for international education settings. The online part comprises video conferencing, online presentations, and webinars. Workshops led by International and Indian IB Educators are a rich resource of professional learning and network. The mandatory teaching internship provides opportunities for the PGDIE candidates to learn from IB mentors and practice. All students are introduced to Whole Person Education Philosophy, representing the vision and mission of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), as a value-added component of the program.
