Certificate program in Proscenium Theatre (July to September) or (November to February)

Objectives
Understanding stage and performance dynamics. -Getting hands-on experience to create a theatre presentation. -Showcasing a theatre performance on VISION 2020.

The Proscenium Theatre workshop is a workshop that provides training in direction, acting, lights, sound, backstage, scripting, stage management, stage make up and costume design. Experts from diverse fields will conduct the sessions. Participants will develop a basic understanding of the function and working of these areas. The workshop culminates in a presentation that comprises solo performances as well as group performances.

The objective of this workshop is to provide participants a working knowledge into the various aspects of theatre. The sessions will involve a balance of practical sessions with theory sessions.

Duration - 60 hours

Timing - 6:20 a m to 8:30 am (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday – 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm)
