Inferno is the business fest conducted by the School of Business Studies and Social Sciences. A Corporate Business Fest of the highest calibre attracts participation from all the management courses. With the standard being exceptionally high, the key focus is on professionalism, teamwork, global corporate thinking and practicality.
The fest was designed to emulate the corporate world and to recreate real-time business scenarios and situations to analyze the participants and find the best among the competitors. Students form their best teams to participate in this fest and the scenario of the fest keeps evolving with the changes in the real business world. The fest mainly included rounds based on Finance, Marketing, Human Capital Management, Public Relations, Entrepreneurship, Managerial skills and Stress Management.
The finale of Inferno 2016 was conducted on 29th August in the Mini Auditorium and Seminar Hall. The Valedictory ceremony was attended by all the Association coordinators, faculty members and top 15 participants of all the events.
Dr Jain Mathew, Head of Department of Management Studies was our chief guest for the day. Along with the chief guest, the coordinators of School of Business Studies and the student representative Sonal Agrawal graced the occasion.
The finale was a symbol of the hardwork, determination and perseverance of students who put their heart and soul into various events they had participated in. For 12 days the students tried to implement their knowledge into a practical scenario where they came up with various strategies, business plans etc.
The most awaited moment of the finale was the prize distribution ceremony where the top three participants of their respective events were awarded with certificates.
The vote of thanks was given by Sonal Agrawal who thanked everyone who had joined hands in making Inferno a successful event.
