Pratibimb

Is a film festival organised by the department to horn filmmaking skills of our students and showcase to larger public.
Theme for 2016 was ‘Ecology’, which was three-stage events such as the film festival, film workshop and the exhibition.
Over the past few decades, there has been a critical mass gained regarding the need to engage purposefully with ecology. Unfortunately this has not provoked any stimulating work within the humanities and social science academia. In fact, alongside growing realizations about the necessity to address ecology in response to such a vexing reality, the department of Media studies at Christ University has chosen to initiate an ecological venture through ‘Pratibimb’; a documentary film festival with ecology as its theme
