Assesment Pattern | |
ASSESSMENT - ONLY FOR THEORY COURSE (without practical component) Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) : 50% (50 marks out of 100 marks) End Semester Examination(ESE) : 50% (50 marks out of 100 marks) Components of the CIA CIA I : Subject Assignments / Online Tests: 10 marks CIA II : Mid Semester Examination (Theory): 25 marks CIA III : Quiz/Seminar/Case Studies/Project: 10 marks Attendance: 05 marks Total: 50 marks Mid Semester Examination (MSE) : Theory Papers: The MSE is conducted for 50 marks of 2 hours duration. Question paper pattern; Five out of Six questions have to be answered. Each question carries 10 marks End Semester Examination (ESE): The ESE is conducted for 100 marks of 3 hours duration. Assessment is based on the performance of the student throughout the semester. Assessment of each paper by three Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) and one End Semester Examinations in each semester.
