The proposal seeks to examine the overall impact of information warfare on the public narratives of the current establishment in India. Research Questions: 1. What are the similarities and dissimilarities between authoritarian states and democratic states in terms of Information Warfare strategies? 2. To what extent has the Information Warfare strategies of state and non-state actors on social media platforms influenced the public narrative in India? 3.
