Centre for Research – Projects
Christ University, with a perspective to promote advanced research in various disciplines, initiated a Major Research Projects in July 2010. To promote, facilitate, co-ordinate, develop and serve an information center, the University has an exclusive centre, “Centre for Research-Projects”.
As, research is the ‘backbone’ of any higher educational set-up, the centre recognizing a proven research background; attitude; interest; and zeal, for research has taken up sixteen major research projects, two monographs and six independent projects. The on-going projects are contemporary, applied, and topics of emerging importance and significance in humanities, management, law, and pure sciences.
The centre encourages faculty members with. It also supports financially up a maximum of Rs. 10 lakh (research expense) and Rs. 10K p.m as research incentive-MRP; up to Rs. 4.5 lakh (research expense) and Rs. 3.5K p.m as research inventive- Monograph.
