Introduced in the year 1993, the two-year Post Graduate programme in Physics at Christ University offers Crystal Physics and Electronics, a branch of Solid State Physics and Spectroscopy for specializations. The post graduate department of physics has well-equipped laboratories for conducting experiments in general Physics as well as in specialization. Regular seminar sessions and guided projects prepare the students to take up teaching assignments and research projects after completing the course. Educational visits to places of scientific importance give exposure to the developments taking place in the field of Physics. It covers almost all branches of Physics in the first three semesters and special papers and electives in the last semester.
